This is the most durable fabric Gore-Tex builds. The 70D Gore-Tex Pro 3-layer ePE shell carries the same Guaranteed To Keep You Dry promise, at 20 percent less weight. Three layers do three jobs: a tough outer face treated with a PFAS-free DWR, the trusted waterproof and windproof membrane, and a robust backer on the inside. Windproof, so wind chill doesn’t pull warmth off your body, and reliably breathable, so sweat vapor escapes during the heat of the action.

The solution-dyed Micro-Grid backer is the difference you feel. It adds puncture, tear, and abrasion resistance for a longer working life, and it slides easily over your base layers so the jacket moves without fighting you. Both the inner and outer fabrics are engineered to resist snags and abrasion when reaching into a rigged-up boat or working a fish along the gunwale.

The fit is built to fish. An articulated pattern lets you cast, net, and fight fish without the jacket binding up. A drop hood with a high collar blocks the wind off the water, neoprene cuffs seal the elements out at the wrists, and large storage pockets and hand warmers keep your gear and your hands where you need them.
