How to Insert Grundéns Wading Boot HEXAGRIP™ Traction Studs
Congratulations on setting yourself up with Grundéns Wading Boots. For added traction, here's a quick 'How-to" on installing the HEXAGRIP™ Alloy Cleats and Carbide Studs.
Hexagrip Cleats
1. Place HEXAGRIP™ cleat in hex recess in the sole of your Grundéns Wading Boot.
2. Using a power or hand screwdriver with a #2 Phillips Head, drive the screw into the sole until the cleat firmly meets the sole of the boot. Be careful not to over-tighten or strip the screw head. Tip: If using a power drive, set the clutch on the lowest setting.
Carbide Studs
1. Using a 1/4" Hex socket driver, drive the screw into the stud recess in the sole until the screw firmly meets the sole of the boot. Be careful not to over-tighten or strip the screw head. Tip: If using a power drive, set the clutch on the lowest setting.
